Never Have I Ever Online is a free version of the classic party game that you play straight from your phone. Pick who you're with, pick the mood, and the questions are ready to go.
Hi, I'm Joan Ramos. I make small free websites, one at a time.
The first was Mary's Printables, a site of free printable sheets I expected only a handful of people to use. Then the emails started. A teacher who found the exact worksheet her class needed. A parent using a chart with a child who was having a hard week. Someone printing party games ten minutes before the guests arrived.
None of them cared how the site looked. They cared that what they needed was right there, worked the first time, and didn't make them sign up for anything. I've built every site since with that in mind.
Never Have I Ever is one of the best games for getting people talking. The trouble is always the questions.
Somebody searches for a list, reads out the same ten questions everyone has heard before, and the game fizzles. Or the list is wrong for the room, and a question meant for a bachelorette party comes out at a family dinner.
So this game asks two things first: who's in the room, and what kind of night it is. Then it gives you questions that fit.
A good Never Have I Ever question is something a few people in the room have done and a few haven't. That's what gets the "wait, you did that?" moments. If everyone has done it, or nobody has, nothing happens.
The questions are sorted by mood, so a kids' sleepover and a girls' night never get the same round.
Here is how the questions and guides get onto the site, and what each one has to pass first.
Every guide shows who reviewed it and when it was last updated. Nothing on this site is sponsored, and no one pays to be listed or linked.
If a question falls flat, shows up in the wrong mood, or something doesn't work on your phone, email me at [email protected]. It comes straight to me.
Never Have I Ever Online is one of a family of free games and tools I run at FriendlyApps.
